How to permanently remove your Gymosaur account and data

Option 1: delete from the app (recommended)

If you still have Gymosaur installed, the fastest way to delete your account or specific pieces of data is in the app itself.

Full account deletion

  1. Open Gymosaur and sign in.
  2. Open the side menu and go to Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. You can reactivate within those 30 days by signing back in.

Partial data deletion (without deleting your account)

You can also remove specific pieces of data while keeping your account active:

  • Workouts & exercise logs: open a workout, tap the menu and choose Delete.
  • Body measurements: open Measurements, tap an entry and choose Delete.
  • Training plans: open the plan, tap the menu and choose Delete.
  • Exercises you created: open the exercise and choose Delete.
  • Posts & comments (when the feed is enabled): open the post or comment menu and choose Delete.
  • Profile fields (name, date of birth, units): open Profile and edit or clear the field.

Deleted items are removed from our servers immediately. Aggregated, anonymised analytics that no longer identify you may be retained.

Option 2: request deletion via this form

If you no longer have the app installed, fill in the form below. We will verify ownership using the email you provide and remove your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, date of birth, gender, units, language).
  • All workouts, exercise logs, body measurements and training plans.
  • Posts, comments and any feed content tied to your account.
  • Subscription records held in our database (active subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play remain, and you must cancel those separately in your store account).

What we retain

We may retain a limited amount of information after deletion when required by law (e.g. invoicing and tax records related to your purchases) or to prevent abuse. Retained data is anonymised where it is no longer needed to identify you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
